Description of work undertaken:
Alteration of 10nr existing units with shared living space for 3 people into 22nr one bed flats, 1nr mother and child unit. Alteration and conversion of the offices, laundry and storage space into new offices, training space and workshop including the installation of a district heating system with air source heat pump.
The works were phased with existing offices and accommodation being maintained for residents while new flats being constructed.
6nr Apprentices were employed on the project including 2nr who moved into the completed flats plus 4nr long term unemployed and 2 school leavers.
